With all the advances in technology and the alleged progress we have made as a society in respect to our political correctness among our diversified culture, I find it hard to believe that more is not being done to prevent cruelty to animals. Our judicial system falls short in this regard, so it is up to us. If you cannot adopt or care for a shelter pet, please consider donating. Even two, three, or five dollars can help. Just as it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a village to care for these abandoned, abused,  mistreated, and neglected animals.
